1st Office has been a pioneer in the field of recycling and recovery of equipment and together with our manufacturing partners ensures that only ROHS (Restriction of the use of Hazardous Substances) compliant products are selected and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations are strictly met.

With environmental awards dating back to 2002 it can be seen that when you choose 1st Office as a partner you are choosing a company that cares for our environment.

Recycling

This ground breaking recycling strategy pioneered by 1st Office in 2001 gives you the piece of mind secure in the knowledge that when you have finished the primary use of your machine, it will (where appropriate) be incorporated into our recycling project as either: A) Sent back to the manufacturers factory in the Midlands for recycling as a complete unit (see product pages for details), or B) Sent for environmental deconstruction i.e. plastic panels are chipped to provide raw material for production of low-grade plastic items, ferrous and non-ferrous metals are removed and sent for appropriate reclamation etc, etc.
